As moms, we are busy from the moment we wake up in the morning until the moment we finally get into bed! So much to do, so much to take care of, so anything that will make life faster and easier, sign us up! We know that FASTEN bathing suits will definitely make our lives and our daughters' lives faster and easier, but unfortunately it can't be summer all year round ☹️. How many of us are scrambling around in the mornings, rushing to get the kids out the door to catch a school bus or get to an activity? We've all been there! Here are 5 handy tips to make getting out the door JUST a little easier...
1. Nail down a wake-up time
Figure out a wake-up time that will allow enough time in the morning for kids to get dressed, brush their teeth, and eat breakfast without having to rush. Get an alarm clock and set it! Your kids will feel independent waking to an alarm rather than you tugging at them to WAKE UP!
2. Set out clothes the night before
Even if you have to sneak into your kid's room when they are sleeping, use the flashlight on your phone to pick out her/his outfit, so there is no "What Should I Wear?" in the morning.
3. Find their shoes!
Everything can be going as smoothly as possible, and in the last minutes before you leave, if you can't find your kids' shoes, all hell can break loose! Locate shoes the night before and place them by the front door or door to the garage.
4. Lunches, snacks, and drinks
If your kids need lunch, make it the night before. Also pack snacks and drinks into their backpacks so you don't have to do it in the morning.
5. Keep breakfast simple and easy
You can feed your kids a quick meal that is still heathy. Whole grain toast with peanut butter or a slice or cheese, any kind of fruit, some yogurt, even whole grain cereals with milk. If your kids like hard boiled eggs, you can make those the night before and serve with a piece of toast and some fruit.
