We all know that when kids are active, they get hungry FAST! So whether they are swimming at the town pool, running around a water park, or frolicking on the beach, it won't be long before you need to reach into that snack bag! We are all about easing the struggle of parenting (hence our game changing girls swimsuits!), and we think the following snacks will be satisfying to your kids, while remaining delicious and healthy!
1. Carrots and Celery with Ranch Dressing
A great crunchy snack packed with vitamins and nutrients!
2. Pretzels with Peanut Butter (for those who aren't allergic)
Another crunchy option for your kiddos! You can find individual natural peanut butter packs at your local grocery store.
3. String Cheese
Packed with protein, and gives them something to do at the same time! (How many strings can YOU pull?)
4. Ants on a Log
Fill celery sticks with peanut butter or cream cheese, then top with raisins, dried cranberries, nuts, even chocolate chips!
5. Fruit and Yogurt Parfait
Layer yogurt, fruits, granola, some chocolate chips, then repeat!
6. Pita Chips with Hummus
Make your own pita chips or grab them at the grocery store, either way they taste yummy dipped in hummus!
7. Fruit Kabobs
Cut up strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, grapes, honeydew, the possibilities are endless! Layer onto a skewer (available at your local grocery store) and your kids will have a blast taking each piece of fruit off one by one. You can even add mini marshmallows in between the fruit pieces for a special treat!
